The emergence of personalized nutrition, dietary style, and food choice with genomic, medical, behavior, and disease burden data enables food industry leaders, for the first time, to lower the barriers to personalized nutrition systems by offering a marketplace of healthy produce choices for more widespread purchase.

Scalable, cost-effective, personalized nutritional services combined with clinical research and data science, now present unique total wellness strategies that can advance consumer education, boost loyalty and consumer trust and localize relationships.

Consumers broadly regard "food as medicine”, understanding the link between health, aging, diet and genomics. Previously, companies could influence the narrative on what constitutes healthy food through advertising. This is changing. Increasingly, consumers have ready access to scientific facts about their dietary styles.

Consumer feedback and studies show retailers, manufacturers and service companies have a major role to play in promoting total-store wellness and dietary style strategies, both in physical stores and online.

In response, food industry executives are developing nutritional services to consumer feedback. Industry leaders see opportunities to drive brand, retail and services growth with physical and digital wellness strategies.

Food industry leaders already understand the crucial importance of health and wellness to their businesses, but there is more they can do, such as developing personalized nutrition and diet services, delving deeper into consumer diet and behavior.

Food industry leaders are also uniquely advantaged to trial new approaches to personalized nutrition as employers in their efforts to constrain increasing healthcare benefit costs.

Today, technology, digitalization, personalization, behavioral data science, disease burden, and nutrigenomics, applied to a person's unique biological data, can produce, for the first time, highly individualized and tailored food recommendations.

Sapiens Data Science has built a first to market unified and continuous Health Score for an individual’s health outlook with actionable Signals and personalized Services recommendations for food retail, services and manufacturers.

The Sapiens Platform ingests and integrates diverse health data and uses advanced analytics with clinically-validated data science algorithms to generate a 10-year mortality risk as a Health Score (scaled to 850, like your FICO credit score).

The Wellbeing and Longevity (WEL)™ Solutions includes the WEL Health Score, prioritized actionable Signals to Protect (keep doing these) and Improve (do better on these) health and personalized Services recommendations.

Sapiens will offer a range of Business Services (B2B and B2B2C) as white label or branded services to improve health and create financial value across market segments. Services also include enterprise and individual dashboards that provide detailed, easy-to-use utilities, for short- and longer-term management of health, costs and financial value. Our global disease burden reference data sets and benchmarks include the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES).
